Featuring x-ray, ultrasound, MRI, CT, dental and doctoral services, the state-of-the-art facility provides excellence in medical care with a modernised architectural design. Due to the nature of works and tight program demanding an on-the-go solution, the MRI was delivered through a portal hatch in the roof, which was designed during construction works. MRI delivery and install required multiple trades and contractors on site, working in close quarters, to ensure successful delivery and installation. This included roofers, crane operators, MRI engineers, structural steel installers and client representatives in attendance on site for more than 10 hours to successfully install the large and extremely valuable machine. Located in the middle of a busy retail complex, significant consideration and a comprehensive traffic management plan had to be made to ensure public safety and that construction would not disturb the rest of the complex.
