As an existing Chinese Restaurant, the site had significant strategic and aesthetic issues to overcome. The Chinese ornamental style features were removed to make way for a monochrome clean modern building with timber accents. The black on white colour scheme cuts a striking contrast to the adjacent buildings providing prominence to the street frontage. The specialist practice features internal finishes which accentuate the lightness and bright feel, with materials selected for hardwearing and stringent Australian cleaning standards.
