NAIDOC Week celebrations are a time to honour the rich history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Australia.

To commemorate NAIDOC week, the Apollo Team visited QAGOMA for a guided tour of artist Judy Watson’s exhibition, 'mundunama kundana wandaraba jarribirri'. Featuring 130 works including painting, prints, sculpture, installation and video, the exhibit delves deep into colonial, social and ecological themes.

It was a privilege to experience this exhibit with the team, celebrating the renowned Waanyi artist’s work while reflecting on the incredible achievements and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in our community.
