The mission: to raise money for children’s charities through the running of challenging cycling events. Since its first ride in 2007, Chain Reaction has raised over $29 MILLION on behalf of its charity partners. The ultimate corporate bike challenge, Chain Reaction challenges senior executives who have a passion for cycling and an awareness of their corporate social responsibilities to ride 1,000km + in 7 days or 300km in 3 days. Two major charity partners are selected before the start of each ride with additional donations made to a number of other children’s charities. In 2018, Apollo Director, Leon Bowes (a five time veteran of the event) and Construction Manager, Ashley Dawson were a part of the Queensland Team to undertake the gruelling Tour of New Zealand South Island – raising over $1.5MILLION - the all time highest amount for a single ride event.Visit website
