Bowen Hills Medical Specialist Centre

The expansive lobby accentuates the full height of the building with the glazing allowing an abundance of natural light to fill the space, creating a sense of wellbeing upon entry to the centre. The holistic design, conceived by architect Myers Ellyett for the centre, steers away from the traditional sterile, medical environment. Embraced by tenant architects Phillips Smith Conwell and Amok, the design intent was delivered collaboratively and seamlessly through colour tones, material choices and finishes all selected to remain functional for patients yet create a sense of calmness and serenity, setting a new benchmark for integrated specialist medical care.
