The sky high location was just one of the hurdles faced by the team. The project required demolition to be completed prior to commencement of design, without impacting the schedule. Additionally, the decision to expose the double height atrium and install glazed skylights added complexity to an already challenging assignment. However, through close collaboration with both the client and BVN, Apollo was able to mitigate program, expense and location constraints to deliver the project on time and within budget.

On completion, in addition to successfully opening the space by exposing the atrium, tenants are able to enjoy fresh air from balconies at either end of the fit-out – an unusual feature at that height.
Producing such a high standard of design whilst adhering to a strict budget certainly presented challenges. By going above and beyond to deliver an exceptional result, Apollo was able to not only meet conditions, but also handed over the project defect free.
